Editorial Reviews:

Director Roger Spottiswoode (Tomorrow Never Dies, Noriega) creates a world of the very near future in which cattle, fish, and even the family pet can be cloned. But cloning humans is illegal - that is until family man Adam Gibson (Arnold Schwarzenegger) comes home from work one day to find a clone has replaced him. Taken from his family and plunged into a sinister world he doesn't understand, Gibson must not only save himself from the assassins who must destroy him to protect their secret, but uncover who and what is behind the horrible things happening to him. The Sixth Day is the story of Gibson's struggle to reclaim his life and his family.

superb transfer

i am pretty new to these reviews, so i am pretty short as i don't like to go on for to long, so i really loved this movie even when it first came out, but the blu-ray is superb the picture is fantastic and the story is still great it is better than some of the new movies coming out

Another greet looking transfer to Blu-Ray.

This title is no exception. Super clean and vivid tranfer. You simply cant ask for much more. Looks brand new from the theatre. There are no blemishes at all. Great sounding explosions, shootouts ect.If you have a great audio system, you will be able to give it a workout.

I do not recall a single instance where I was dissappointed with the quality of this disk. First off, this title was viewed on my Sony XBR4 monitor. The voices are crisp and clean. I mean really great actually.

You will get a taste of all sound ranges with this title. This is a great action movie to show off your audio system. They really leap out. Blu-Ray has really got their stuff together. If you are a Arnie fan, it is not his best, but a worthy effort in my opinion. Calibrated with the Digital Video Essentials disk.

No edge enhancement is visible. Although this film is not really that old, they did a masterful job with it. As for the movie, if you are a sci-fi fan, this is a cool movie. If you are a Arnie fan, you will be happy to view this in the best possible format to date. HDMI Monster cables were also used, with Monster speaker cables. No dirt, scratches, or visual distractions. The overall picture is very, very sharp and clean.

So, with that said.this title looks and sounds great. This a " reference quality " picture. The colors are very bold and vibrant. PS3 was used for playback. Sound acheived through a Sony DG910 receiver, and Axiom speakers. Dark and stable throughout. The night scenes hold black very well.

The sound is awesome.

6th day

When he's not on screen you might as well go for that snack or hit the bathroom. The people reviewing before me seem to have reviewed the quality of the DVD instead of the movie, which probably tells you the best part about it. The plot has more holes than a swiss cheese, the dialogue seems to have come from other (boring) movies we've all seen before and Arnold is far from at his best. His age is showing, the moves are gone, and we're just left with his acting ability - which says it all. The only remotely interesting character is the bad guy, played by Tony Goldwyn.

Perfect

Best Video and Sound anda a actor is very old men in this BD with details is detailed.
