On my way to becoming a LOSER!
 

Again, before you're ready to surrender, you switch to ab work and you do three circuits of this. The workout is more challenging than my other workouts because of the combination of weights and aerobics. The cardio portion is simple moves that most people would be familiar with. There are three different level routines. It is interval training with weights and ab work. I will likely remain at the beginner level for a while. At this pace, I have no doubt that I will shred a considerable amount of weight in 30 days.

I was sore for two days after this. Even after the workout was over, I was still sweating tremendously. I do step aerobics and zumba (both 45-50 minutes). Just when you think you're dying, you move to the weight lifting/strength portion which is also no joke. Jillian is straight forward, no nonsense, but totally encouraging.

Work often interferes with my ability to get to the gym consistently. This is a great workout. I was wiped, but I felt good physically and proud of myself. I chose level 1, beginner even though I do step and zumba. Therefore, I began looking for workouts that I could do at home to supplement and up my exercise to 3-5 times a week.

I work a lot. I sweat as much, if not more, doing this workout as doing those.



IT WORKS...NO BS
 

Ive had a personal trainer and all the workouts that she had be do are on this DVD, Jillian is really your personal trainer and pushes you just the same way a personal trainer would at the GYM. Well you've found it because this is a great workout DVD.

This is ONE GREAT, FAT & CALORIE BURNING workout. Hey if you want a 20 minute workout its going to be hard but worth it.

Looking for a workout DVD.

I have to say that its hard work but definitely worth it, the hard work pays off. We can make our bodies do whatever we want them to.

Hey Everyone. Level 1 is a killer which is great because if you stick to it you'll see the difference and be extremely proud of yourself when you get to Level 3 with ease and your body in great shape.



Kicked my butt all over the place
 

Even a little distracting for those times you need to be distracted. I even have problems with lymphedema from surgeries in my leg and I was able to do this no pain/discomfort later. It's only a 20 minute work out with a nice 5 minute warmup with easy moves and a 5 minute good stretch/cool-down session at the end. Anyway, this workout kicked my a$& all over the room. That's great as far as I'm concerned.

I did the Level 1 workout (there are 3 Levels on this dvd) yesterday and today and I can feel it in my legs, abs and back but I'm not so sore that I couldn't get out of bed. I made it all the way through, but I have to admit I did the "accommodated" version of a few moves near the end. I absolutely recommend this dvd to everyone.

I do have to say I consider myself in okay shape- I'm not going to run a marathon anytime soon but I can do a 5k with just a little training. Each workout is 3 minutes of cardio, 2 minutes of strength, and 1 minute of abs repeated over the 20 minutes. The dialog Jillian gives is very encouraging and educational, and gives tips on avoiding injury.

It's all stuff (calisthenics) you've done before- sit ups, push ups, jumping jacks, lunges. What I love about this workout is that there's nothing that is confusing. When you can get a great workout in 20 minutes, I consider that an accomplishment.



Butt Kicker
 

I have just finished the first set of 10 day shredding and tomorrow I will start the second level. I concider myself at the intermediate to advanced level. I thought that overall I was well balanced in strength adn fitness, but boy did I find out that my upper body need more attention. I have been workingout for about two and a half years. This 20 minute program kicks my butt.



Disappointing
 

First off, the warm up exercises did not work opposing muscle groups, and to think of doing each section 10 days for a total of 30 days means a lopsided muscle use. Secondly, the routines were uninspired.

Moves were basic, making them easy to follow; but the lack of imagination in the routines left me feeling a bit bored. I exercise to videotapes regularly, but still felt this one the next day.

Jullian's cuing was good and her safety explanations included demonstrations - a real benefit. It is too monotonous and there are too many good workouts that are balanced and stimulating to have to make myself do one that is imbalanced and boring.

Having said this, though, I found the negative points to be sigificant enough that I have gotten rid of my tape after only 5 viewings. I purchased this DVD with anticipation, but was disappointed.

On the positived side, this is a good workout for getting metabolism burn in only 20 minutes.
