Great music, great moves, high energy and you'll be smiling through most of it, while you're able to learn new moves. You totally get your cardio in and you will probably sweat. The First workout I did was Rockin' Abs. All and all a great workout. The workout is great and you can totally feel the ab workout. I loved that first series.
So I loved these workouts since I've gotten them. I loved this workout. I'd wait to use both until you know the moves (if you think that's not heavy enough. The workout itself is challenging. You totally feel like you're there and Shaun T is just super funny. Then there's the Hardbody workout.
Hope this helped. I had the first Hip Hop Abs series you see on television. ok. so about this workout.
For those who don't want to do that move, like me on the first try, Tonya does a simplified move for us. Ok. The moves are almost all new and it starts out fast. The music is really good too. When you first start working out and stuff with the videos, unless you've taken dance classes, you may feel like a bit of a doof trying to do these pretty cool moves, but eventually (like 2 workouts) you'll feel good and can do them fine. I really, really loved this video a lot. :).
If you have the foundation of the first videos you'll be fine though. The floor routine isn't that hard, but you do get a nice stretch. I didn't recognize any of the songs from the radio, but I enjoyed them. Let me tell you the difference between the first set of DVDs and the Dance Party series is significant. Like the other video (don't think I mentioned it) but you can use your weighted gloves or the weights.
So I was super hopeful for this one. It's 100% delicious. It worked out the upper body and the lower body, but I'd say it's more of an upper body (arms and abs than lower body). The deal for those was just so sweet and I figured why not try it. Ok,.
You do some floor work, but one of the hardest exercises was when you do a push up and at the same time you extend your leg out to the side and you do it on tempo (those who do these DVDs know what that means).
