MICHAEL LIVES. AND THIS TIME, THEY?RE READY! Now Remastered In HD And Featuring An All-New Audio Commentary! Because Hell would not have him, Michael Myers survived the mine explosion thought to have killed him. One year later, his traumatized young niece Jamie (Danielle Harris of HALLOWEEN 4) is horrified to discover she has a telepathic bond with her evil Uncle?and that Uncle Michael is on his way back to Haddonfield. But Dr. Loomis (the late, great Donald Pleasence) has a new plan to destroy The Boogey Man in his childhood home using Jamie as bait. Tonight, the carnage begins again: Michael Myers is back with a vengeance! Ellie Cornell and Beau Starr return for this hit sequel that features grisly gore by K.N.B. EFX Group (ARMY OF DARKNESS, SCREAM, HOSTEL), and is now fully remastered in DiviMax? for the ultimate in Michael Myers mayhem!

Starting around Halloween 4, that masked nut Michael Myers stopped chasing his sister (played by Jamie Lee Curtis in the first and second films, as well as Halloween H20) and went after his niece. Now he's chasing her around again in part 5, but it's a lot of other people who die in the process. Donald Pleasence continues his mad-doctor bit from the earlier movies, Danielle Harris is the unfortunate relation, and Donald L. Shanks plays the monster. The film is an improvement on parts 2 and 4 (part 3 having nothing to do with Michael Myers), but it still amounts to routine slaughter with none of John Carpenter's stylistic brilliance from the original movie. --Tom Keogh

TERRIBLE!!!

I mean, did the world of film go stupid for a second and just forget about explaining that piece of the plot. Who the hell was the partially invisible trench coat man with the brief case, the Man in Black. Without sitting threw the equally terrible, "Curse of Michael Myers", no one would ever have any idea who or what he is. For those who want something deep, search "David Lynch", and thank me later.

For those who enjoy the good Myers movies, stick to 1, 2, h20, and Resurrection. Or were they just so desperate to figure out a new way to get Micheal "out of jail" (like he could have been "jailed") that they created this random character for that part alone. and after watching 6.it seems like they were trying to be "deep" with the stories.well.honestly that failed terribly.

When I began watching Halloween 5, I was convinced that it was going to save the world from part 4 and help to redeem the series.and I wasen't very displeased.until the closing act. *Some Spoilers.*. This was a piece of trash just like its predecessor, 4.

good quality

It was great quality, you would never know that it was made so long ago. Love it that the saga continues. Shipped fast.

a new interesting tip 4 everyone out theree!!!

who knows the more remakes and or ssequals they make there just ruining what few great halloween movies there are currently. SO there you go. so for bout $85 you can get all the Halloween movies if you got the $$$ and are a hard core fan. who knows what those joker producers will end up doing. SOOOO wish a produceers cut of H=6 would come out. Plus just about anywhere has the 2007 vs of halloween for about $20 i think. Good $ price for 3 movies.

Buy it if yur a hard core fan. If there going to make a sequal make one w/ john(josh hartnett) lauries son coming back and facing michael one last time or something like that. Walmart just got in recently a NEW odd never seen b4 till recent a box set of Halloween 6, 7, 8 combo for $15. for whatever reason. AND another Halloween movie a sequal from last years (2007) will be out in 2009 i heard>. If you want all the movies> walmart has halloween 1 for $10, H-2, H-3 combo pack for i think $8.00 and then theres BEst bUY whom has H-4, H-5 for $15 ea. just a tip that box set IS NOT worth it.

I heard its about 45min of additional footage that the theatrical release didnt show.

This was a good One!

SPOILER. Loomis, and of course Myers. This movie also had some decent killes.

This is one of my favs, why don't other people think that way. She must stop Michael from claiming her just like the fourth. There is a really good death scene where a couple is having sex in a cellar of a barn, and the boy is impaled with a pitchfork, while the woman is sliced up with a scythe. This time, Jamie has returned back to normal by the help of a childrens clinic she stays at, shes has developed a 'boy' friend named William (Billy).

It's almost like Halloween 4, it has most of the same characters like Jamie, Rachel, Dr. H5: The Revenge of Micael Myers, is said to have failed and be the worst in the series, but I can't figure out what is so bad about it. Then this boy gets his faced picked with a pitchfork leading to a bloody finish.
